Translate DXF to Gerber Data

• Load the DXF data files: Menu: Files -> Load Files

• Select the option "Convert closed polyline with zero line thickness to polygons" to translate
• closed area's in the DXF data to solid polygons.

Result with the translate to Polygon option On.

Result with the translate to Polygon option Off. (Equal to DXF input data)

• Translate the DXF data to Gerber:  File-> Save as (Shift F2)

• Select the "Save as type" [Gerber files] and key-in the destination file-name.

Note: If a zero line width exist in the Job, define the default line width in the pop-up window.

A message window pops-up and display the amount of added apertures for the Job

• Select the Gerber output format and options in the "Save Gerber" window from below.
